In order to cultivate the students＂ self- learning ability and interest in learning English and make teaching in higher vocational colleges meet the need of society, this paper does a need analysis in by means of questionnaire and interview, which shows that it is the essential solution to innovate methods, improve the teaching effect, be student- centered and meet students＇need in learning English English English.
