Miyun District of Beijing owns unique advantage and has obtained some achievements in developing urban modern agriculture, but there are still some bottleneck issues in scale management, industrialization, refinement, branding, and so on. The related statistical data of Miyun district since 2008 was collected and reorganized here to review and analysis the development status of Miyun's urban modern agriculture in five aspects, including regional economy, rural practice, facility agriculture, seed industrialization and rural tourism. In addition, the SWOT analysis theory was used to summarize the strengths, the weaknesses, the opportunities and the threats in development of Miyun's urban modern agriculture in the collaborative development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei pattern. The development pattern with ecological leisure served as the main function , and production guarantee served as the secondary function was proposed in terms of Miyun development of urban modern agriculture, on the basis of the principle that the functions decide the patterns, and the patterns promote the development.%北京市密云区在发展都市型现代农业方面具有得天独厚的优势，也取得了一定的成绩。但在规模化、产业化、精细化以及品牌打造等方面仍存在瓶颈。利用2008年来密云区的相关统计数据，从区域经济、乡村从业、设施农业、籽种产业以及乡村旅游等五个方面对密云区都市型现代农业的发展现状进行总结。同时运用 SWOT方法归纳总结出密云区在京津冀协同发展格局的大背景下发展都市型现代农业具备的优势、劣势、机遇及挑战。在此基础上按照功能决定模式、模式促进发展的原则，建议密云区发展都市型现代农业应该采用以生态休闲功能为主、以生产保障功能为辅的兼顾型发展模式。
