公安高等教育是国民高等教育的重要组成部分，是我国公安工作的基础。加强公安院校大学生心理健康教育、提升他们的心理素质，已成为公安院校思想政治工作的迫切需要。本文力图从二者的不可替代性和互补性展开讨论，从而在方法、管理、人员上的纬度以及各级部门的重视，促进公安高校学生的整体素质的提升，使思想政治教育更具实践性，心理教育更富实效性。%Higher education of public security is an important part of national higher education , and it is the foundation of public securi-ty work in our country .It has become an important task to strengthen the mental health education for students and to improve their psy -chological quality in public security colleges .This paper makes a discussion from the irreplaceability and complementarity of these two parts, so as to promote the overall quality of students in public security colleges by the combination of the two methods , management and personnel as well as the attention of relative departments , making the psychological education more practical and ideological and political education more effective .
