男女性别差异在语言中的显著体现是日语区别于其他语言体系的一大特点。女性用语不仅仅是一种单纯的语言现象，在本质上也是一种由政治、经济、文化及思想等因素综合影响下的社会现象，属于日语位相语的重要研究内容。文章从社会语言学及历史语言学的角度出发，以女性用语为研究中心，多角度、全方位地重点分析明治维新以来，女性用语在日本近现代社会的阶段性特点及其产生的社会背景。%Gender difference is of such obviousness that it's become one of the key features that differ Japanese from other languages. Women register is not only a linguistic phenomenon but, by its nature, a social phenomenon influenced by a combined force of Japanese politics, economy and culture; and it is one of the main branched studies of Japanese phase. Based on Social Linguistics and Historical Linguistics and centered on women register, this thesis, from a multidimensional viewpoint, analyses the varied characteristics and social backgrounds of women register used in different modern phases mainly after the Meiji Restoration.
