This paper fistly expounds the connotation of intercultural communicative competence and its components. Based on it, the article puts forward the ability of intercultural communication and proposes to cultivate students' competence of the intercultural communication. It finally summarizes the ways of improving the non-English major students' competence of the intercultural communication. These ways include : to establish the cultural class based on the culture's experience; to ensure the double roles of the university English teachers; to make active and effective use of teaching resources, strengthen students' ability of intercultural communication.%文章首先阐述了跨文化交际能力的内涵及其组成因素，在此基础上提出了跨文化交际能力的作用、培养学生跨文化交际能力的必要性，最后总结了提高非英语专业学生跨文化交际能力的途径，这些途径包括：建立以文化体验为基点的课堂；确定大学英语教师的双重身份；积极有效运用各种教学资源；强化学生的跨文化交际实践能力。
