对人性的探讨几乎是一切思想家思考问题的逻辑起点，作为中国近代著名思想家的梁启超，也不能超越这一规律，他的政治思想体系的理论基石之一就是人性观。站在近代中西思想交汇的当口，梁启超形成了不同于中国传统认识的独特人性观。梁启超人性观的本质是“利己”，包括积极和消极两个方面，是由“求智”与“保守”、“独立”与“合群”、“理智”与“情感”等三对相互对立的因素构成的复合体。梁启超的人性观，特别是基于人性观提出的人生观思想，对我们今天社会的精神文明建设具有巨大的启示意义。%The problem of humanity is nearly the logic beginning of all ideologists＇ pensee. Of course, Liang Qi-chao cann＇t get away. The problem of humanity is one of footstones of his political theory. Liang Qi-chao has his own opinion which is different from the tranditional understanding. This paper has this viewpoint that the essence of humanity is self-regard in Liang Qi-chao＇s opinion. The self-regard has an active aspect and the other negative aspect. Humanity is a complex of wisdom-requesting, keeping, independence, group-fitting, reason and sensibility. Liang Qi-chao＇s opinion on humanity and philosophy has huge meaning of enlightening for today＇s social inspirit-building.
