The paper discusses the connotation, content, significance and realization of international law. The value of international law refers to the significance to a state or human being, and it is the satisfaction with the requirements of a state and human being the international law meets. The value contains peace and security, existence and development, order and justice. With the social development, the value is changing constantly; the development of international law is characterized with the value diversification. The value of international law is the driving force in its historical evolution, and the principles to judge good and evil in international legislative process, and a most important factor to guide the action of a sovereign state. The best approach to realize the value of international law is the international cooperation.
