Objective To observe the changes of corneal endothelial cell density in angle closure glaucoma pa -tients after combined cataract phacoemulsification and trabeculectomy .Methods Sixty-one patients with cataract and an-gle closure glaucoma ( 61 eyes ) received phacoemulsification , intraocular lens implantation and trabeculectomy .Central corneal endothelial cell density was measured before surgery and at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months after surgery.Re-sults Average preoperative endothelial cell density was 2209 ±343/mm2.Endothelial cell density decreased to 1665 ± 487/mm2 , 1636 ±492/mm2 , and 1635 ±509/mm2 at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months after the surgery , representing a reduction of 24.63%, 25.95%, and 25.98%, respectively.The reduction of endothelial cell density was significant ( P<0.05), and there were no signs of improvement during the follow-up period, suggesting that the endothelial cell loss is permanent .Conclusion It is important to assess the corneal endothelial cells in angle closure glaucoma patients before surgery treatments in order to prevent corneal endothelial dysfunction .%目的：观察闭角型青光眼合并白内障行超声乳化人工晶状体植入联合小梁切除手术前后角膜内皮细胞的变化。方法对闭角型青光眼合并白内障患者61例（61只眼）行超声乳化人工晶状体植入联合小梁切除术，分别于术前及术后3、6、12个月测量角膜中央区内皮细胞密度进行分析比较。结果术前角膜中央区平均内皮细胞密度为（2209±343）个/mm2，术后3、6、12个月角膜中央区平均内皮细胞密度分别为（1665±487）个/mm2、（1636±492）个/mm2、（1635±509）个/mm2，与术前比较丢失率为24.63％、25.95％、25.98％，各随访期角膜中央区平均内皮细胞密度与术前比较明显下降，差异具有统计学意义（ P ＜0.05），术后3、6、12个月角膜中央区平均内皮细胞密度虽然有所下降，但差异无统计学意义（ P ＞0.05）。结论对闭角型青光眼合并白内障行超声乳化人工晶状体植入联合小梁切除术术后角膜内皮功能失代偿的预测评估至关重要。
