Objective To explore the efficacy of acupoint catgut‐embedding thera‐py (ACET) combined with psychotherapy for premenstrual syndrome (PMS) of liver‐qi stagnation type .Methods Forty‐three patients with liver‐qi stagnation type PMS were treated with ACET plus cognitive behavior therapy (CBT ) and relaxation training ,3 menstrual cycles followed up ,and efficacies added up .Results Of 43 patients clinical cure rate was 44 .2% and total effective rate 95 .3% .Conclusion ACET plus psychotherapy has an evident effect ,higher safety and no toxic and side effect in the treatment of liver‐qi stagnation type PMS .%目的：探讨穴位埋线联合心理疗法治疗肝郁气滞型经前期紧张综合征的临床疗效。方法对43例肝郁气滞型经前期紧张综合征患者采用穴位埋线联合认知行为疗法及放松训练，随访3个月经周期，统计临床疗效。结果本组43例患者临床痊愈率为44．2％，总有效率为95．3％。结论穴位埋线联合心理疗法治疗肝郁气滞型经前期紧张综合征疗效显著，安全性高。
