SCI环仿真和分析

         

摘要

SCI (scalable coherent interface), which is proposed by IEEE, provides an efficient flow control protocol that fairly allocates bandwidth to all nodes on the network. It is very attractive because of its high bandwidth (1 GByte/s) and low latency (hundreds of ns) under light traffic load. Among all parameters, the critical point is a key parameter. If it is missed, the real-time performance will be degraded abruptly. The simulation of the SCI rings and evaluation of the critical point are important approaches to further study of the protocol. From the simulation, a conclusion can be drawn that the SCI protocol is a good alternative for mission system, which requires hard real-time performance.%SCI作为IEEE的一个协议标准,采用一个高效的流控子协议为网络上的所有节点公平地分配带宽.在所有的参数中,临界点是一个关键参数,当负载超过这个临界点时,网络的实时性将急剧恶化.对SCI环进行建模仿真,评估临界点是研究SCI协议的一个重要手段.仿真结果表明SCI协议适用于对实时性要求较高的任务系统的互联.
