林木根系单根的生物力学特性

         

摘要

以黄土高原半干旱区17年生的刺槐(Robinia paeudoacacia)人工林和17年生的侧柏(Platyeladus orientalis)人工林为对象,通过单根拉伸试验研究了根系的抗拉强度和杨氏模量.结果表明,刺槐根与侧柏根的生物力学特性表现出显著的尺度效应.根系的抗拉强度与杨氏模量都随直径的增大而减小,且刺槐根的强度约是侧柏根的2倍.%Research on fine roots biomechanical characteristics could contribute to understand the relationship between plants and soil, as well play an important role on implementing eco-engineering and bio-engineering methods suitably. Hie goal of this paper was to investigate root tensile strength and root Young's modulus based on roots tensile test, with a case study on two monospecific 17-y-old stands of Robinia pseudoacacia and Platycladus oriettialis grown on slopes in the semiarid Loess Plateau of China. Scale effects were found on biomechanical characteristics of R. Pseudoacacia roots and P. Orientalis roots. Root tensile strength and Young's modulus decrease with root diameter increasing. Both root tensile strength and Young's modulus of R. Pseudoacacia were about two times higher than that of P. Orientalis.
