As an important part of college English teaching, teaching of translation between English and Chinese in colleges and universities is of great significance to the training of translator in China. On the whole, problems, big or small, exist in translation teaching in colleges and universities. This strangles the improvement of the quality of Eng-lish teaching, brings obstacle to the training of translator in China and remains to be pretty much the agenda for Chi-nese colleges and universities. With discussion on the present situation of translation teaching in Chinese colleges and universities, this thesis is to make some positive studies on the way out for present teaching.%作为当前国内大学英语教学的重要组成部分,英语的翻译教学对于国内英语翻译人才的培养意义重大,但综合看来,我国高校的英语翻译教学普遍存在或大或小的问题,致使课程教学的质量得不到有效提高,阻碍了对我国英语翻译人才的培养,这也是目前我国高校教育发展中亟待解决的问题之一.文中结合对当前高校大学英语翻译教学现状的探讨,从多方面对当前大学英语翻译教学的出路进行了积极探讨.
