Compact antenna is presented based on the composite right/left-handed metamaterials, by miniaturization method. By the theoretical analysis on microstrip leaky-wave antenna, the antenna model simulation and the physical antenna test, it is found that the composite right/left-handed metamaterials microstrip leaky-wave antenna radiation appears mainly in the first antenna elements at the left-hand zone. According to this law, a compact microstrip leaky-wave antenna is designed. Better performance of the antenna is verified by experiments , the scanning direction of the antenna radiation beam can be controlled by electronically at the left-hand zone.%设计了一种基于复合左右手传输线的小型天线,在对微带漏波天线理论分析的基础上,对天线模型进行仿真,对实物天线进行了测试.研究发现,复合左右手特异性材料微带漏波天线工作于左手区时,电磁波辐射主要发生在天线前几个单元.根据这一规律,设计了一个小型的微带漏波天线,经实验验证有较好的性能,工作于左手区时可以实现电控波束扫描.
