成人高等教育面临着生源数量锐减、生源质量较低、教材缺乏特色、教学管理模式陈旧、考核方式单一、教育目标模糊等问题。成人高等教育同时也蕴藏着良好的发展机遇：终身教育理念促进了学习动力；社会经济转型催生了教育需求；网络技术发展提供了良好平台。成人高等教育必须迎接挑战，把握学习型社会视域下的发展机遇，努力实现突破。%Adult higher education is facing problems, such as, the sharp drop in the number of students, low quality of students, lack of features of textbooks, obsolete teaching management model, single assessment methods and vague educational goals. But at the same time there is a good opportunity for development of adult higher education: the concept of lifelong education promoting learning motivation; socio-economic transformation has given rise to education needs; the development of network technology provides a good platform. Adult higher education must meet the challenges, grasp the development opportunity in the learning society and strive to achieve breakthroughs.
