The scholars in western Guangdong made great contributions to the western Guangdong culture since time immemorial. They constructed Guangxi spirit,such as upgrading the Jiaozhi organizational system,building the whole and harmonious home spirit, longing for leading atmosphere and pursuing the development. Since the new era,Mr. Lin Huanping and Lin Baoquan made great achievements in training undergraduate,master and doctor candidates. They did literature and art teaching and research in Guangxi and through China.%古来粤西士人对粤西文化做出重要贡献，创建广西精神，如交趾建制的升格，建造整体和谐家园的精神与实践、对领先风气的渴望、对开拓发展的追求等。新时期来，林焕平、林宝全二位先生，在文艺理论工作上卓有建树，并培养出一大批本科生、硕士生，在广西与全国各地从事文艺理论的教学与研究。
