基于CBI理念的高职汽车英语教学模式研究

         

摘要

CBI (content-based instruction), which combines language learning with content learning, enables the college students to improve their workplace English capacity and cultivates them to be compound talents of high-skilled. The proper use of CBI in Automobile English Teaching of Higher Vocational Education not only meets de-mands of our society and training objective, but also makes an improvement in learning for both teachers and stu-dents. Any of teaching models can be adopted among Immersion Model, Sheltered Subject Instruction, Adjunct Lan-guage Instruction, Theme-Based Instruction and Content for Practice. Considering the characteristics of Automobile English, teachers might as well use them alternately and jointly to fully exert the teaching advantages of CBI in higher vocational education.%CBI(content-based instruction)把语言学习与学科知识学习结合起来,能够有效提高学生的职业英语能力,把学生培养成为高技能的复合型人才。在高职汽车英语教学中运用CBI,不仅能满足社会用人单位的需求,而且符合高职教育的培养目标,还是高职院校师生共同提高自身学习水平的有效途径。结合高职汽车英语的教学特点,教师可以采用沉浸式、保护式、辅助式、主题式和内容操练式等五种教学模式中的任意一种,也可以交替结合使用,发挥CBI在高职汽车英语教学中的优势。
