专利被引频次与专利分类跨领域相关性研究--以中国在美国授权专利为例

         

摘要

Purpose/Significance] Citation frequency of patents are usually used to evaluate the importance of the techniques covered by this patent, and the interdisciplinary phenomenon of patent technology to some extent affects its citations, so exploring the size of this in-fluence is helpful to a further study on the method of using the diversity of patent classifications to predict the number of patent citations for identifying the core patents. [ Method/Process] Taking the 2009 Chinese Patents authorized in the United States as a data source, from the two aspects of the number of the patent itself classifications and the classifications of the patent citation( interdisciplinary number) , this ar-ticle analyzes the correlation between the Chinese patents cited frequency and diversity of their classifications. [ Result/Conclusion] The results show that except for F and G patents, there is a significant positive correlation between citation frequency of patents and interdisci-plinary classifications of their backward citations ( NSciting, NCciting) , and in field of G, there is a significant positive correlation only between citation frequency of patents and interdisciplinary classifications of their backward citations ( NSciting);notable differences in the number of classifications assigned to backward citations exist between high-cited and low-cited groups.%[目的/意义]专利的被引频次通常用来评估这项专利所涵盖技术的重要性,而专利技术的跨领域现象在一定程度上影响着它的被引频次,探究这种影响力的大小有助于进一步研究利用专利分类多样性预测专利被引频次并识别核心专利的方法。[方法/过程]以2009年中国在美国授权的专利为数据源,从专利本身分类数(跨领域数)以及其专利引文的分类数(跨领域数)两个角度分析了中国专利的被引频次与其分类多样性的相关性。[结果/结论]结果表明,除F领域和G领域专利,其他领域及整体专利的被引频次与其专利引文的分类数(大部水平和子类水平)显著正相关,另外G领域专利的被引频次只与其专利引文的大部水平分类数显著正相关;高被引频次组和低被引频次组专利的引用专利分类数存在着较显著的差异。
