Translation and interpretation of Chines e calligraphy is essentially based on the written art form of translation and cultural dissemination activities in China . Lasswell ’ s "5W" communication model theory is adopted to explore the translation and interpretation mode of Chinese Calligraphy by analyzing and integrating the factors including control , content , medium , audience and consequences . An effective translation and interpretation mode of Chinese calligraphy should take cultural communica-tion into consideration , considering target audience ’ s reception to alien culture and their cultural envi-ronment , carefully selecting content and approach of communication , and constructing discourse system belonged to Chinese calligraphy to improve the effect of external communication .%中国书法对外译介从本质上看是基于“译”的文字艺术形式与中国文化的传播活动。在拉斯韦尔5W传播模式的视角下，就书法对外传播过程中控制因素、内容因素、媒介因素、受众因素和效果因素进行分析与整合，来探讨书法英语译介模式。书法对外译介应以文化传播为本质目的，充分考虑目的语文化环境及受众对异质文化的接受情况，有针对性地选取传播内容、传播途径，建构属于中国书法的话语体系，以期提高书法的对外传播效果。
