日语语言文化受中国的影响较大。现代日语中有很多四个汉字组成的词，一般被称为四字熟语，四字熟语中大部分是从中文成语中引进过来的，但意义却不一定和中文相同，日语赋予了这些成语新的含义。中国人在学习日语时不但要注意区分这些形式相同或相近但意思不同的熟语，更要进行对比分析，从中了解和领悟日本语言文化的渊源和内涵。%Japanese language and culture have been greatly influenced by China. Phrases made of four Chinese characters frequently appear in modern Japanese, and are usually called four-character idioms. Most four-character idioms came from Chinese idioms, but may have different meanings, since Japanese had giv-en them new meanings. When Chinese people learn Japanese, they should not only distinguish idioms that have similar forms and different meanings in Chinese and Japanese, but also understand the origin and inner meaning of Japanese language and culture.
