The Common Core State Standards for Mathematics was released in June, 2010 by the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices （NGA Center） and the Council of Chief State School Officers （CCSSO）. It defines the mathematical knowledge and skill that students should have learnt within their K-12 education careers. The purpose is to solve the problems that the contents are not coherent and the key points are not stand out, and teaching is wide, but is not focus, such as ＂a mile wide and an inch deep＂ in mathematics teaching. It is a new change for school mathematics education over the recent decade in the United States.
