Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of LUC7L3 and Ki-67 in meningiomas.Methods According to the World Health Organization(WHO) histological classification,50 paraffin-embedded meningioma samples were classified as grade Ⅰ(21 cases),grade Ⅱ(18 cases) and grade Ⅲ(11 cases).In addition,20 normal meningeal tissues were selected as the control.The expression of LUC7L3 and Ki-67 protein was examined by immunohistochemical technique MaxVision.Results The positive expression rate was 86.0% for LUC7L3 and 84.0% for Ki-67 in meningiomas.Compared with normal meningeal tissues,both LUC7L3 and Ki-67 expression increased in meningiomas(P<0.05).The positive rates of LUC7L3 expression were 71.4%,94.7% and 100.0% in grades Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ meningiomas,respectively.LUC7L3 expression increased with the degree of malignancy(P<0.05).The labeling index(LI) of Ki-67 in grade I meningiomas was lower than that in grade Ⅱ or Ⅲ meningiomas(P<0.05).Correlation analysis demonstrated that LUC7L3 expression was positively correlated with Ki-67 expression(r=0.845,P=0.001).Conclusion Both LUC7L3 and Ki-67 are expressed in meningiomas,and their expression increases with the degree of malignancy.LUC7L3 expression is positively correlated with Ki-67 expression in meningiomas.%目的 检测脑膜瘤组织中LUC7L3与Ki-67的表达情况,并探讨其临床意义.方法 以脑膜瘤石蜡标本50例为脑膜瘤组,WHO分级:Ⅰ级21例、Ⅱ级18例、Ⅲ级11例;另取20例正常脑膜组织为正常组.应用免疫组织化学MaxVisionTM法,检测2组LUC7L3及Ki-67的表达水平.结果 脑膜瘤组LUC7L3和Ki-67表达阳性率分别为86.0%、84.0%,而正常组则表达均为阴性,脑膜瘤组LUC7L3和Ki-67均明显高于正常组(P<0.05);LUC7L3在Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ级脑膜瘤组织中表达阳性率分别为71.4%、94.7%和100.0%,且随着恶性水平增加,LUC7L3蛋白表达水平增加(P<0.05);Ⅰ级脑膜瘤的Ki-67标记指数明显低于Ⅱ级、Ⅲ级(均P<0.05);LUC7L3与Ki-67呈正相关(r=0.845,P=0.001).结论 LUC7L3和Ki-67在脑膜瘤中存在表达;且随着脑膜瘤恶性程度的增高,表达水平增高;LUC7L3与Ki-67的表达水平呈正相关.
