社团参与作为社会资本测量中的重要指标，也是培育提升现代社会资本的有力手段。通过对山东省烟台市544位城市居民进行的问卷调查，考察了参加体育社团活动对于现代社会资本培育的影响。研究发现，体育社团活动会促使城市居民社会资本的性质由传统向现代转变，对现代社会资本的培育起到了积极作用。具体而言，参与体育社团活动有助于增强城市居民的公共参与意识，提高城市居民的普遍信任程度，拓展城市居民的信任网络结构以及运用网络资源的能力。但是参加体育社团不能从根本上改变中国人人际关系中的差序格局。%Club participation is an important indication and contributes to the cultivation of social capital. Based on the data of the investigation to 544 urban residents in Yantai, Shandong Province from 2013 to 2014, this paper focuses on the influence of sports club activities on social capital. The study reveals that sports club activities can make the so-cial capital of the urban residents change from traditional to modern, and then plays a positive role in the cultivation of modern social capital. To be more specific, the participation of sports club activities can promote the public participation of urban residents, improve the generall trust level of urban residents, and expand the trust network structure of urban residents relatively, as well as strengthen their ability to use network resources. But sports clubs activities cannot funda-mentally change the structure of grade in the personality of Chinese people.
