In the development history of Qinghua University,Feng Youlan was elected as Acting President of Qinghua University during the period between the vocation of presidency of Qinghua by Luo Jialun and the assumption of that post by Mei Yiqi.Feng Youlan had made huge contributions to the stability and development of Qinghua University under extreme historical circumstances by leading the university council in maintaining the sound operation of university affairs,resisting the interference of warlords,standing against disruptive attempts at obstructing the tradition of ＂rule of professors＂ by Wu Nanxuan,and actively participating in and organizing activities for the War of Resistance Against Japan.%在清华大学的发展史上,从罗家伦辞职到梅贻琦到任一年多的时间里,冯友兰被推举代理校务。他领导校务委员会,在维持学校正常运作的同时,抵制军阀势力对清华的干预,反对吴南轩对教授治校传统的破坏,积极参加并组织抗日活动,为清华大学在特殊时期的稳定和发展作出了重大贡献。
