Great achievements have been made by the Communist Party of China in its efforts to educate farmers on socialist core values in the New Periods, with rich experience having been accumulated. The theoretical elaboration on the importance of educating farmers advanced by Marxist classical writers constitutes the theoretical basis of the party＇s efforts to educate farmers on socialist core values, while the party＇s accurate analysis and objective evaluation of the level of political and ideological consciousnesses of the farmers are a prerequisite for carrying out such education.
