Based on specimens and documents,the taxonomy and distribution of Erinaceinae in Shaanxi province are concluded.There are 3 genuses,5 species in Shaanxi province,i.e.,Erinaceus amurensis of Manchurian hedgehogs,Mesechinus dauuricus of Daurian hedgehogs,Hemiechinus auritus of big-eared hedgehogs,Mesechinus hughi of forest hedgehogs and Mesechinus miodon of Small-toothed forest Hedgehog.The authors conclude that the big-eared hedgehogs,Daurian hedgehogs and Small-toothed forest hedgehogs are the species distributing in the arid regions of mesothermal beManchurian hedgehogs is the species distributing in the semi-arid semi-humid loess plateaus and plains; Forest hedgehogs is the species distributing in the humid and semihumid mountains and forests from the warn belt to northern subtropical belt.%基于标本统计和文献查阅，对陕西省猬亚科动物的分类和分布进行了整理。查明陕西省猬亚科动物有3属5种，即刺猬属的东北刺猬(Erinaceus amurensis )、大耳猬属的大耳猬(Hemiechinus auritus )、林猬属的达乌尔猬(Mesechinus dauuricus )、林猬(Mesechinus hughi )和小齿猬(Mesechinus miodon )。从分布地、气候带及自然区的特征看，大耳猬、达乌尔猬及小齿猬为中温带干旱地区的分布种；东北刺猬为暖温带半干旱、半湿润黄土高原地区及平原的分布种；林猬则是暖温带至北亚热带湿润或半湿润山地森林地区的分布种。
