提出一种新型的约束层次划分体系，即面向活动的约束和面向活动内容的约束两 大层次。在此基础上，探讨了约束管理实施中的约束表达、约束满足以及冲突仲裁等问题， 并给出了具体实现方法。%To our best knowledge, existing constraint management papers have not considered any constraints other than product-design-oriented ones. Actually we deem that the following constraints also need to be considered: (1) constraints inherent among product development activities, such as the workflow relationship, (2) constraints existing in activity exchange and consultation. We propose a new hiera rchical architecture. We define and analyze two layers: (1) activity-oriented constraints, (2) activity-content-oriented constraints. We study constraint management implementation with this architecture. We propose a new constraint representation: multimedia constraint. To avoid unnecessary complexities of full artificial intelligence, we prefer the chiefly human-based method of constraint satisfaction and conflict settlement. We have completed the laboratory development of corresponding constraint management system. The results of testing and trial running show that the system can effectively support the integration and management of two layer constraints.
