Objective To observe the effect of workshop-styled empowerment education on follow-up management for elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mcllitus. Method 48 elderly discharged patients receive follow-up management for 2 years by workshop-styled empowerment education. Assess their behavior habit by Diabetes Self-care Scale (DSCS). Test patients' metabolism index and body mass index regularly. Result Score of patients' self-protection behavior is obvioulsy improved after intervention. Metabolism index (including fasting and postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, triglyceride and total cholesterol) and body mass index reduce. Conclusion workshop-styled empowerment education can help elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mcllitus form a nice self-protection behavior and improve their metabolism index.%目的 观察"工作坊"式授权教育在老年2型糖尿病患者随访管理中的应用效果.方法 对48例老年2型糖尿病出院患者采用"工作坊"式授权教育的随访管理,实施期2年.用自护行为量表评估患者的行为习惯,定期对患者行代谢指标及体质指数检测.结果 干预后患者自护行为评分提高,代谢指标(空腹与餐后血糖、糖化血红蛋白、甘油三酯、总胆固醇)及体质指数下降.结论 "工作坊"式授权教育能使老年2型糖尿病患者建立良好的自护行为,改善代谢指标.
