Discussed the importance and some characteristics of probability and mathematical statistics.Based on our teaching practices,put forward teaching reform measures such as stimulating study interest,strengthing the training about basic concept and method,cultivating application ability using the computer aided teaching and strengthing communication with students using the Internet.The practice shown that these measures help to improve the students′learning motivation and classroom teaching efficiency.%讨论了概率论与数理统计课程的重要性和课程特点，结合教学实践，提出了激发学习兴趣，注重基本概念和方法的训练，利用计算机辅助教学培养应用能力，利用网络加强与学生的交流等教学改革措施。实践表明，这些措施有利于提高学生的学习积极性和课堂教学效率。
