Finite element model was set up for an aluminum alloy through truss footbridge with 24m in span. Based on the static analysis results, the strength and stiffness of the bridge structure were checked. The ultimate load carrying capacity of the footbridge was determined by nonlinear finite element analysis. The lateral stability of the top - chord member of the truss under design load combinations was verified.%以跨度24m的开口下承式铝合金桁架步行桥为例,建立整体有限元分析模型,在桥体结构强度、刚度验算的基础上,对桥体结构进行非线性有限元分析,确定桥体结构在不同荷载组合作用下的极限承载力,以保证不会由于桁架上弦平面外失稳而造成桥体结构失效.
