The concept and attribute of the cloud computing are introduced. According to the development of the railway intelligent transport system, RITS cloud is proposed. With the same processors and storage installations, RITS cloud can integrate the existing resources in power system with system intranet to improve the computation and storage abilities and data security of the entire system, and can reduce the investment of system expansion as well. The cloud for the railway intelligent transport system is also useful for the development of the intelligent transport system.
