Since the 1970s,as a new interdiscipline,cross-cultural communication research has developed pluralisticly and maturely.In the light of some philosophic thoughts-rationalism,structuralism and post-structuralism,and the existing research achievements,it is possible to review and explore the theoretic structure and research practice of this subject.Particularly,along with the thought of post-structuralism,some new research trend has emerged in this discipline which brings some new thinking and hope for researchers.It is reasonable to believe that in the cross-cultural communication,rationality not only shapes but also verifies in the communications.Communications without any rationality is meaningless.Furthermore,rationality which has not been tested by communications is also blind.%自上世纪七十年代以来,跨文化交流研究作为一门新兴的交叉前沿学科,其发展日益走向多元、成熟。顺沿理性主义—结构主义—后结构主义等哲学思潮的发展历程,并结合现有的研究成果,可以对该学科的理论建构及研究实践进行新的梳理与探讨。特别是伴随着后结构主义思潮的流行,该学科领域出现的一些新的研究动向,为研究者们在今后的实践研究中提供了新思路,带来了新希望。可以认为,在跨文化交流中,理性既形成于交流之中,又在交流中得到验证。没有理性的交流是无意义的,而没有通过交流检验的理性又是盲目的。
