Folk rhyme, as a kind of special language phenomenon, records the abstract concepts of its local people to some degree, such as the thinking patterns and cultural concepts. Employing conceptual metaphor theory, the paper analyzed the conceptual metaphors and metaphorical expressions embodied in children’s folk rhymes of Ningbo, through which it found out that the conceptual metaphor theory is of great importance to interpret the socio-cultural information in Ningbo folk rhymes , thus to fulfill the semantic coherence of children’s folk rhymes of Ningbo.%民间童谣作为一种特殊的语言现象，在一定程度上记录了当地民众的思维方式、文化观念等抽象概念。文章借助概念隐喻理论，分析了宁波童谣中蕴含的概念隐喻与隐喻表达式，指出概念隐喻有助于解读宁波童谣中的社会文化信息，对于建构和实现宁波童谣的语义连贯具有重要意义。
