The Public Library Law requires that the public library should abide by relevant provisions, such as the Law on Protection of Cultural Relics and the Archives Law, and protect the copyright of ancient books. They also need to establish sharing mechanism between the collection units while inheriting the information and strengthening the utilization of ancient books. At the same time, the Law also clarified the overall planning function of the National Library in the protection and utilization of ancient books. In future cultural inheritance, the government should spare no effort to promote the use of ancient books and build international cooperation to achieve resource sharing.
