“吃了他三个苹果”这类准双宾结构，在文献中已有大量讨论，但有一事实却未受到重视：无定量化成分在这类结构中有时不可或缺，有时则可有可无。文章在生成语法的框架下对这一现象作了尝试性的分析。文章认为，准双宾结构是借助功能语类 High-Appl 推导生成的，High-Appl 需要一个空算子在 Spec-FP 合并。该空算子必须约束一个变量。而无定量化成分在逻辑式中会转化成变量。它的存在可以使 Spec-FP 上的空算子得到允准。这就导致无定量化成分有时不可缺失。若空算子能由疑问词等成分转化来的变量允准，那么无定量化成分就可以省略了。%Although quasi-double object constructions like “chi le ta san ge pingguo”(吃了他三个苹果)have been heatedly discussed in the literature,relatively little attention has been directed to the fact that the indefinite quantificational elements in these constructions are sometimes indispensable and sometimes optional.This paper conducts a tentative analysis of this phenomenon within the framework of Generative Grammar.This paper proposes that the reason behind this phenomenon is that quasi-double object constructions are derived with the aid of the functional category High-Appl, which needs an operator to be merged in Spec-FP.And this operator must bind a variable so as to be licensed.As the indefinite quantificational element can turn into a variable at LF,its occurrence can have the operator in Spec-FP licensed.This renders the indefinite quantificational elements indispen-sable.If the operator can be licensed by the variable derived from other elements,such as the inter-rogative word,the indefinite quantificational elements become optional.
