Based on the iceberg theory of business model and 7E-model to bank's business model,this paper conducts an empirical study with the structural equation model on the relationship between business model,external environment and performance of the 16 listed Chinese commercial banks.Besides,this paper also conducts an empirical comparative analysis according to banks' nature.The results show that,business model has a negative impact on the bank's short-term performance,while a positive impact on the bank's long-term performance.External environment has a significant impact on bank's business model and a positive impact on the bank's short-term performance.This is because the improvement of business model will hit the original model first which will lead to the degradation of bank's performance.In the long run,banks will gradually adapt to the changes of external environment and become stable,the good match of business model and external environment will generally improve bank's performance.In addition,when distinguishing the proprietary nature of banks in the above structural equation model,the results differ again.In the end,according to those empirical results,we put forward some suggestions on bank's business model.%本文基于商业模式冰山理论与银行商业模式7E模型,以我国16家上市商业银行为研究对象,采用财务指标对其商业模式进行量化,通过结构方程模型就银行商业模式及外部环境对绩效的影响进行了实证研究.结果表明:银行商业模式对其短期绩效存在负向影响,对其长期绩效存在正向影响;外部环境对银行商业模式存在正向影响,对银行短期绩效存在正向影响.本文认为原因是:在短期内,商业模式的调整和变化往往会给原有模式带来冲击,使银行绩效出现一定的下降;而当新商业模式的运作逐渐稳定并适应外部环境时,可以促进银行绩效的提高.商业模式对银行绩效的影响会因银行性质的不同存在差异.最后,本文基于实证结论提出了商业银行在商业模式创新方面的相关建议.
