Stromal interaction molecule 1(STIM1)transmembrane protein within the cells of the endoplasmic reticulum,as endoplasmic reticulum calcium ion sensor can be combined with membrane proteins under Orai1 involved in the regulation of intracellular calcium concentration.Calcium imbalance has been linked to a variety of cardiovascular diseases,this paper were reviewed by STIM1 in cardiovascular-related diseases.
