Objective To investigate the effectiveness of pullout suture through the tibial tunnel under arthro-scope for repair of medial meniscus posterior root ( MMPR) tear. Methods Clinical data of 54 patients with MMRR tear from March 2010 to February 2014, who were treated with pullout suture through the tibial tunnel under arthroscopes, was retrospectively analyzed. Results The 54 patients were all followed up, and the average follow-up time was 22 months, and no postoperative complications were reported. The preoperative scores of Lysholm scale and International Knee Docu-mentation Committee were significantly higher than those before the surgery (P<0. 01). Among the last 20 follow-up pa-tients, 16 patients (80. 0%) were healed.
