交通信号灯智能控制算法研究

         

摘要

针对当前城市交通信号灯控制的技术缺陷,即国内大多数城市交通信号灯控制方法仍然停留在时间程序控制的技术层面,或者采用感应线圈等设备来获取道路交通信息等技术现状,提出一种交通信号灯智能控制算法.该系统算法由图像边缘检测、道路行车类型切割、纵向坐标投影和车流长度分析等核心技术组成,能够充分、有效和实时地获取交通流量信息,使城市交通信号灯的开/关时间能够根据道路上车流量的实际大小实施准确控制,因此使交通信号灯的控制达到智能化的技术水平,为最终实现城市智能交通提供科学的信息基础.%Even in this modern age,the flow of urban traffic in big cities is controlled using indirect measurement of traffic flow,based on induction coil sensors or pressure sensors embedded in the road. This indirect measurement of traffic flow gives only a very rough approximation of the traffic flow. In this paper a real time image based accurate traffic flow measurement method has been proposed. The proposed control method consists of core image processing algorithms,including edge detection of vehicles,road traffic types cutting,longitudinal coordinate projection and traffic flow length analysis etc. It can provide effective and real-time assessment of traffic flow information,thus the implementation of control for city traffic lights on/off time can be accurately switched according to the actual size of the road traffic. Hence this method augments the control of traffic lights to reach the level of intelligent technology and provides the scientific information basis for Intelligent Urban Transportation.
