This paper introduces how to design a Hospital Information System (HIS) using visual object modeling of the object-oriented development technology. Such a system has powerful functions with stability and extensibility, and is easy to maintain. It achieves excellent performances in online transaction processing and distributed computing due to its application of transaction maximization technology on the three-tier Client/Server architecture.%运用可视化对象建模技术（面向对象开发方法）设计的医院管理信息系统功能强大，运行稳定，易于扩展和维护。由于在三层客户机/服务器结构中采用事物处理最大化技术，使得该系统在线事物处理和分布式计算性能优越。
