The normalized total gradient method was used to interpret the induced polarization anomaly resulted from the polymetallic ore in Qingshui,it is proved that the vertical sections from the normalized total grads can be applied to determine the central depthof anomalous bodies quite satisfactorily,the result is consistent with that interpreted by the source-controlled audio-frequency magnetotelluric sounding method.The case study indicates that the normalized total gradient method can generate a reliable interpretation of induced polarization anomaly with the correct selection parameters.%利用归一化总梯度法对清水多金属矿激电异常进行了解释,结果表明,根据归一化总梯度垂直断面图可较好地确定异常体的中心埋深,其解释结果与可控源音频大地电磁测深结果吻合,可见,只要参数选择合理,归一化总梯度能给出激电异常较为可靠的解释.
