The AD9230 is a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter chip, whose maximum speed is up to 250 MSPS, and can provides high enough dynamic performance for the common intermediate frequency systems. The principle and main functions of AD9230 are described. The important pins of AD9230 are introduced. The application examples of intermediate frequency digital receiver based on AD9230 are presented. This research provided a reference for design of digital intermediate frequency receivers based on AD9230.
