This study used a case study design to select a student with severe intellectual disabilities who was enrolled in a special education school and used the picture book to integrate into AAC 's teaching program through teaching recordings, interviews, observations, and other relevant data. It explored the process and effectiveness of the picture book into AAC for students with intellectual disabilities to learn emotional vocabulary and related sentence structure.
