Virginia Woolf was the daughter of the well-known English critic and biographer Sir Leslie Stephen.She was born in London in 1882 and was educated at home by private teachers and by her frequent contact with her father's distinguished friends.Virginia had free access to the large collection of books in the family library and read extensively,which laid a solid foundation for her future literary creation.
