Power consumption rate is one of the main economic indicators to measure the economic performance of thermal power units.With the developing electricity market and the coal market,the various power compa-nies continue efforts to strengthen management,to seek the optimal power consumption rate indicators.This paper analyzed the case of coal-fired plants for power and various auxiliary systems,exploration the energy-saving capacity and technology.Adjustment measures proposed to reduce operating power consumption rate, strengthening equipment maintenance priorities,the implementation of effective use of technology innovation and technology transformation,to seek the largest benefits of power generation companies.%厂用电率是衡量火力发电机组经济性能的主要经济技术指标之一，随着电力市场和煤炭市场的不断变化，各发电企业不断挖掘潜力并强化管理，寻求最优的厂用电率指标。对在役燃煤电厂各辅机及系统耗电情况进行现状分析，讨论了可能存在的节电空间和节能方向，提出了降低厂用电率的运行调整优化措施，通过强化设备经济运行的检修维护工作重点，运用科技创新手段实施有效的技术改造方案，以谋求企业最大的发供电效益。
