Empirical studies show that emo-tion and emotion regulation have important implications on risky decision. The theoretical explanations of the influ-ence include the mood mainte-nance hypothesis, affective generalization hypothesis and the somatic marker hypoth-esis. Neural mechanisms of emotion regulation on risks decision-making has also made some progress, which main-ly can be positioned the striatal in the brain, midbrain and the brain Island. Then we analyzed the value of emotions and emotion regulation on decision-making under risk and the trends of future research.
