A temperature monitoring system was designed using digital temperature sensor DS18B20 and 16-bit ultralow power consumption MCU MSP430F149 as the hardware core, and virtual instrument software LabVIEW 8. 6 as the designing platform. The digital temperature signals from DS18B20 was collected and sent by MSP430 to the LabVIEW which analyzes and processes the signals to achieve realtime temperature.
