摘要

Winding temperature monitoring is very important to the performance monitoring and fault detection of large scale motor. An online temperature monitoring system of motor stator windings has been developed based on wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and Lab VIEW. This paper presents the design and implementation of the monitoring system, including temperature sensor modules design, WSNs node design, network model and TDMA-based protocol, and real-time monitoring software module development based on Lab VIEW. The developed monitoring system was tested on a large motor winding temperature monitoring system. Experimental results show that the monitoring system based on WSNs and virtual instrument can effectively detect and transmit the motor winding temperature surveillance centre, and realize remote condition monitoring.
