The two-dimension practice teaching system is proposed for Mechanical Engineering Design. Based on theory, the content of system is improved in horizontal and vertical directions. The content of experiment, project design and graduation design are planed in horizontal direction, while the progressive framework layers are established from verification, design and innovation in vertical direction. The concept applies to application-oriented, innovative training objectives. It trains engineering practical ability of students,and achieves better teaching effect in application.%构建了二维度机械设计专业方向实践教学体系.在提出理论的基础上,完善横向和纵向两方向的内容.在横向方向上对课程实验、课程设计、毕业设计的内容进行规划；在纵向层次注重建立从验证、设计、创新的框架结构.该理念适用于应用型、创新型人才培养目标,培养学生工程实践能力,在应用中取得较好的教学效果.
