In order to meet the demand of talents training in geographical science, Hubei Provincial Geographical Science Teaching Demonstration Center in Central China Normal University has classified the pilot projects into four modules-"geographical process experiment, geographic technology experiment, geography education experiment and geography application experiment" and three levels "basic operational experiment, comprehensive design experiment and research innovative experiment" to construct the "3 +4 +3 +4" experimental teaching system instead of the traditional way of " setting up experimental projects required by curriculum". The system has witnessed a remarkable improvement in teachers' and students' ability in practice and scientific research as well as achievement in experimental teaching.%为了满足地理学科人才培养的需求,打破传统单纯以课程设置实验项目的做法,将实验项目划分为“地理过程实验、地理技术实验、地理教育实验和地理应用实验”4个模块以及“基础操作性实验、综合设计性实验和研究创新性实验”3个层次,构建了“3 +4 +3 +4”的实验教学体系.经多年实践,教师和学生的实践动手能力和科研能力有了明显提高,实验教学取得了显著成效.
