Experiential training, as an effective way, is the product of the development of modern education, and its positive signifi-cance will be more and more widely embodied in higher voca-tional education. By introducing the measures and effects of the training for the design contest of Chinese banquet, this paper an-alyzes the role of students' independent learning-based experi-ential training in the cultivation of students' professional ability and accomplishment.%体验式培训是现代教育发展的产物，作为行之有效的培训方式，它的积极意义将越来越普遍地体现在高职教育中。文章通过对高职中餐主题宴会设计大赛体验式培训的措施及其效果的介绍，分析了体验式培训以学生自主学习为主的教学模式对于培养学生专业能力及素养形成的作用。
